Essential Oil - Geranium

Traditionally used as a skin freshener and astringent - excellent for all skin types. Used in skin care products for both its fragrance and cleansing properties, and also for massage where there is cellulite. Balancing to both mind and body and emotionally stablising, Geranium essential oil is also astringent, haemostatic, good for stimulation, diuretic, toning and antiseptic. It's also a good lice and mosquito repellent. It is known to balance, calm, relax, restore and maintain the emotions. As with all essential oils be sure to dilute in a Carrier Oil or a Base Preparation before applying to the skin. Obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of the Bourbon Geranium. Floral, fresh, sweet, with a fruity note. Balancing to both mind and body. Emotionally stablising. Good for dry and greasy skin. Astringent, haemostatic, stimulation, diuretic, toning and antiseptic. Ingredients: Geraniol, borneol, Citronellol, linalol, termineol, limonene, phellandrene, pinene.
